The simple setup
All you need is a ChatGPT account with the access required by UsageX and a computer running a released UsageX connector. Windows, macOS and Linux installers are offered only after passing their release tests.
Get started

Enter your email, request a one-time code, and verify it. You must be signed in before you can pay.
Once customer checkout opens, subscribe through the secure checkout. After payment is confirmed, your account unlocks the protected downloads.
Choose a released installer for Windows, macOS or Linux. Your browser starts the download and opens a separate setup page with the MCP address, logo and the in-depth guide.
Windows: the background connector currently uses an unsigned installer. Windows SmartScreen may warn or your device policy may block it; download only from the protected official UsageX page and do not disable security protections. macOS signing and notarization are separate.
When the download finishes, run the installer. It opens a secure Link this PC page. Sign in to your paid UsageX account and confirm the device.
